Welcome to Onio-n (the "App"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application and related services, operated by Sweet Onion Solutions Inc. ("we", "our", or "us").

By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms or our Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

1. Who Can Use the App

To use the App, you must be at least 18 years old. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. What We Do

The App is designed to help you:

  • Create and manage shopping lists

  • Find grocery prices, promotions, and coupons to help reduce costs

  • Store and use loyalty card information

  • Compare prices across your preferred grocery stores

  • Get insights into your spending habits

  • Receive anonymous product offers from retailers and CPG companies

We analyze your data to deliver personalized savings and insights. You retain full control over your information (see Section 4).

3. Your Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes

  • Keep your login credentials confidential and secure

  • Refrain from misusing or interfering with the platform (e.g., via hacking, scraping, reverse engineering, etc.)

4. Privacy and Data Use

We take your privacy seriously. Please refer to our full Privacy Policy for details. In summary:

  • We collect purchase-related data—including receipt images—to enhance your experience

  • We may anonymize and aggregate data to generate insights shared with third parties (e.g., retailers, researchers, and CPG companies)

  • We do not sell your personal information

By using the App, you consent to this data usage.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality (including logos, code, and databases) are the exclusive property of Sweet Onion Solutions Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit the App or its content without our prior written permission.

6. Third-Party Links and Content

The App may include links to external websites or feature content from third parties. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or policies of any third-party services. Use them at your own risk.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms or create a security or legal risk.

You may delete your account at any time. Once deleted, your access ends immediately, and all personally identifiable information (PII) and associated purchase history will be permanently erased.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any damages related to your use of the App, including (but not limited to) lost savings, data breaches, or service interruptions.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of:

  • The Province of Nova Scotia for Canadian users

  • The State of Delaware for U.S. users

...without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. When we do, we’ll update the "Effective Date" at the top and post the revised version in the App. By continuing to use the App, you agree to the updated Terms.
